LA Ink is an upcoming
reality show which is to premier on TLC that follows the events of "High
Voltage Tattoo", a tattoo shop in Los Angeles, California. It is a spinoff
of Miami Ink starring Kat Von D. It will premier on August 7, 2007. [1]
The shop is owned by acclaimed tattoo artist Kat Von D, who became famous as
a result of her tenure on Miami Ink. After a fall out with co-owner and
tattooist Ami James, Von D left the series and was offered her own show.
Along with Von D the series will feature fellow tattoo artists Corey Miller,
Hannah Aitchison and Kim Saigh.
