I love most music, from Black Flag to Black Sabbath, with a little blues on top.

The best one I've seen in awhile is Pan's Labyrinth. Not that it's my first choice, but all the Disney stuff is good, too. What are you gonna do? I've got 3 kids...

What is the strangest tattoo you ever designed?

I don't think I've done it yet.

What is your favorite tattoo on your body and what does it symbolize?

The dragons on my right arm. It symbolizes my daughter watching me.

What is the best vacation you ever took?

I used to go to Ann Arbor, Michigan every summer to visit my friend Suzanne. Those were some of the best vacations I've ever had.

What are the things in your life that you couldn't live without?

Food, water, shelter... UHHHH???... My cellphone?

If you only had 1 meal left to eat, what would you choose?

My wife's meat loaf, with some mashed potatoes on the side.

Where are you from?

I was born and bred in southern California.

When did you first start drawing and tattooing?

I've liked drawing ever since I was 3 or 4. You know... when you first start holding a crayon. I started tattooing when I was 15 years old.

Where do you get your inspiration from?

My mortgage bill really inspires me.

What's the last book you read?

Walter the Farting Dog, to my kids last night. My daughter Suzanna loves it.

What were your first thoughts when TLC approached you about being on LA INK?

Wow, that might be cool! Nay, they'll probably pick somebody else. Really? I don't know if I can handle that. Of course I can handle that. I can't do this, I'm too old school. I'd be a fool not to do this. The heck with it. I'll do it.
